Salter Cane will be playing its last gig of the year at the Prince Albert tonight, so if you’re in Brighton and fancy some alt-country action, come on down to see us - we’ll be taking the stage at about 10.
We’ve already got our first concert lined up for the new year: we’ll be playing at the second Oyster Lounge event on Valentine’s Day in Lewes. We apologize to any of our fans expecting to see us at the first Oyster Lounge back in September; a welcome new arrival to Chris’ family meant we had to cancel the gig at short notice - but we promise to make up for it at Oyster Lounge 2!
We’ll also be heading back into the studio at the start of the year - to re-record the four songs we first recorded back in August. An unfortunate and unexpected hard drive crash at the studio caused us to lose the recordings from the summer. Needless to say, we’re pretty bummed out about that, but we’re looking on the bright side and hoping that we can get even better recordings of the songs the second time around.
Until then, you can listen to our new EP and old LP to tide you over - and catch us at the Albert if you can!
